The problem
A strong reputation, but a website AI engines could not easily quote. Its answers were too short to lift whole, and outside the site there was little to confirm who the business is.
What the audit found
- GEO Health Score of 71 out of 100 in the full April audit, with clear, fixable gaps.
- FAQ answers averaged 40 to 80 words across 91 questions. AI engines need roughly 134 to 167 words to cite reliably.
- No YouTube presence and no Wikidata entity for a 65-year-old, ABN-registered business.
- Blog posts credited to the company rather than a named person, with no author bylines.
- Platform spread: Google AI Overviews 74, Claude 72, Perplexity 70, Bing Copilot 68, ChatGPT 65.
What I did
- Expanded the FAQ answers to the length AI engines quote, and brought the FAQ schema in line with them.
- Built a YouTube content plan and drafted a Wikidata entry for the owner to review.
- Ongoing retainer: weekly scorecards, Google Business Profile posts, location content and Google Ads support.
The result
This is a live engagement, and the progress so far is on the website itself. In April the FAQ answers averaged 40 to 80 words. By 9 September the typical answer on the FAQ page ran 145 words, and 59 of its 88 answers were long enough for AI engines to quote in full. The business has also gone from no YouTube presence to its own channel, with a video on its homepage. Whether that work changes how often AI names the business is the next thing to measure, and the re-scored result will be published here. Updated 15 September 2026: this page previously showed 52 out of 100, a first-pass score that the full audit corrected two days later.
