The problem
When customers asked ChatGPT or Google's AI for temporary power pole hire in Brisbane, the business did not surface. Strong reputation, weak machine readability.
What the audit found
- GEO Health Score of 52 out of 100, with clear, fixable gaps.
- FAQ answers ran 7 to 56 words. AI engines need roughly 134 to 167 words to cite reliably.
- No YouTube presence and no Wikidata entity for a 65-year-old, ABN-registered business.
- Blog posts missing BlogPosting schema and author bylines.
- Platform spread: Google AI Overviews 58, Perplexity 45, Bing Copilot 42, ChatGPT 38.
What I did
- Expanded the top FAQ answers to the citation threshold.
- Added FAQPage and BlogPosting schema with author and date signals.
- Built a YouTube content plan and started a Wikidata entity.
- Ongoing retainer: weekly scorecards, GBP posts, location content and Google Ads support.
The result
Re-scored each retainer cycle. Replace this line with the measured before and after GEO movement you can defend.
